In a quiet location and rural environment, you can relax in peace and recharge your batteries for everyday life.
The town center (500 m) can be easily reached on foot.
Non-smoking rooms
Fresh air in the guest room: All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed on the balconies.
No minimum length of stay
Important for business travelers, cyclists, hikers, spa visitors, travelers passing through: There is no minimum length of stay in the guest rooms. They can be booked from one night.
However, a minimum stay of several days may apply to appointments that are in high demand!
Direct dial telephone
You can have conversations right from your room at a moderate price per unit. You can reach your loved ones at home by phone on your extension number directly in the room without any further switching. A wake-up call can also be programmed via the room telephone.
Service for guests of the holiday apartments
You are welcome to take part in our rich breakfast buffet.
Our service for late risers or self-caterers: we bring you fresh bread from the bakery by arrangement and simply place them in front of your apartment door.
We collect the rubbish every day and dispose of it (separately).
Sauna
Where the soul relaxes in a natural environment, the body does not miss out in the in-house sauna.
The sauna beckons and caresses the nose with various scents of fruits, herbs and flowers. A cocktail of warmth, fragrance and steam and gives the body deep relaxation. Relaxing loungers, sauna towels, foot warming pool, infusion device, various sauna aromas, flood shower, shower and cold water hose are of course included.
You can cool off in the fresh air on a screened terrace. The heating-up time is approx. 30 minutes.
The sauna is switched on as required and is charged separately.
Meeting room
We have set up a bright and modern conference room for up to 15 people for events, meetings, conferences and seminars.
Existing conference technology:
Flexible trapezoid tables, whiteboards, projection screens, flip charts, magnetic strips, televisions, blinds, shutters, large sliding doors to the outside with a terrace.
Keyboy
Should your arrival be late or delayed – no problem – just no stress! After prior agreement, we can deposit your room chip with our “Keyboy” and provide you with an opening code. Then you can arrive relaxed whenever. We’ll do the check-in the next morning.

Payment by debit card
To pay for your accommodation costs on the day of arrival or departure, you can conveniently pay your bill by EC or Maestro card.
Company credit cards Mastercard and Visa are only accepted for business travelers.

Our blue guest fridge with freezer compartment can be used by all guests and is accessible at all times.
Drinks machine
In the hotel lobby there is a drinks machine with a coin changer and a glass display case. You will receive various chilled drinks (mineral water, Fanta / Cola, apple spritzer, Spezi, Pils, wheat beer, shandy, various Markelsheim wines in 0.25l bottles, Secco and grape juice).
Here you can get a range of drinks from the region as far as possible.
Coffee bar
If you have a quick cup of coffee and don’t want to leave the house: A Senseo coffee machine is available for self-service at the small coffee bar in the hotel lobby.
Free parking
You can park your vehicle free of charge in front of the house.
Bicycle garage
Your bicycles can stay overnight in the large bicycle garage.
Tools for minor repairs are available.
Motorcycles are also safely stored in the garage.
Bike rental and bike service shops can be found in the vicinity.
Battery charging station
You can charge your batteries for the e-bike directly in the garage at the e-bike charging station.
Clothes dryer
Cyclists and hikers also get wet from time to time. We are happy to dry your laundry in our tumble dryer and we always have a few plastic rain capes ready for you.

Rainy weather? Boredom? Where is what’s going on Where can you go to eat well? Where can I buy wine? How do I get to ….? Walking route? Cycling tour? Railway information? Shopping tips?
We give you tips for your leisure time and have a lot of documents and brochures for you. You can also use our “Blue Board” to find out about current events
Ironing station
Business meeting or family celebration? No problem – we want you to look tidy: we have hidden a small ironing station with an ironing board / steam iron in a niche to iron your clothes on.
To forget something?
We are happy to help you out with toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, sewing kits, etc.
Arrival by train
Many bike tours can be put together by bike and train. Get on and off comfortably in Markelsheim. By the way: Bicycles are transported free of charge on the Crailsheim-Wertheim route, and most of the trains have a boarding aid.
Pets
For hygienic reasons and out of consideration for many guests who are allergic, the dear pets unfortunately have to stay at home.
Hotel ecology
We attach great importance to environmental friendliness and have therefore installed a rainwater treatment system with a large cistern for all toilet flushes. As far as possible, the house is equipped with energy-saving LED lighting. Strict attention is paid to sorting waste.
Biking / hiking / jogging / walking paths on the doorstep
You can start various round tours directly from the guest house and soak up fresh air. We have many different tour suggestions ready for joggers, walkers, Nordic walkers, skaters, walkers, cyclists and hikers.
