Due to its central location in the middle of the Lovely Tauber Valley, Markelsheim is an ideal starting point for the sights
pearls of the "Lovely Tauber Valley" and its surroundings on the "Romantic Road":
 Teutonic Order town of Bad Mergentheim (6 km)
with Teutonic Order Castle, Teutonic Order Museum, spa
and castle park, historic market square, cultural forum,
"Solymar Thermal Baths". Daily city tours (please take your

 Bad Mergentheim Wildlife Park (2 km)
Lynxes, bears, vultures, otters, wolf packs, bats, moose ....
You can see all this in the truly unique wildlife park, which
is about 2 km from Markelsheim. It is best to accompany
the gamekeeper at the feedings, which take place 2x a
day, and marvel at the interesting demonstrations. There
